What’s Happening? Justice Alexandre de Moraes of the Brazilian Supreme Court has ordered the “immediate, complete and total suspension of X’s operations” in the country. The decision also imposes a daily fine of R$50,000 (nearly $9,000) on private individuals and companies that attempt to continue using X via virtual private networks.
