WHAT WE BELIEVE
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. – 2 Timothy 3:16-17
- We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things.
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the first begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, was born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified and died, was buried and resurrected, ascended into heaven, is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, and is both true God and true man.
- We believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct.
- We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost.
- We believe in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
- We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and we believe in personal holiness, purity of heart, and life.
- We believe in divine healing and prosperity through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ and obedience to His Word. These benefits are included in and are a part of our Redemption.
- We believe in water baptism, in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in the gifts of the Spirit, and in the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit.
- We believe that all of these are available to believers.
- We believe in the Christian’s hope and the Rapture of the Church: the soon-coming, personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

About Bishop Alan
After a radical encounter with God at the age of seventeen, Alan DiDio was born again; instantly transformed from a dogmatic atheist into a passionate follower of Jesus Christ. Grounded in a Word-based church, he learned early how to stand in faith, pursue truth, and submit his life fully to the authority of Scripture. Not long after his conversion, he attended Bible college and went on to serve with an international ministry for twelve years, spending nearly seven years on staff. During that time, he gained experience across every area of ministry, from overseeing an international prayer center to traveling nationally and internationally preaching the Gospel.
In 2004, Bishop Alan founded Encounter Ministries with a mandate to awaken believers, equip the Church, and proclaim the Gospel with clarity and power. Through this ministry, he has taken the message of Jesus Christ to nations including Pakistan, China, Israel, Haiti, and Guatemala, while also reaching millions worldwide through teaching and media.
In 2023, in response to a prophetic revelation and a growing urgency to contend for revival in America, Bishop Alan launched The Encounter Charlotte. This local church was established with the conviction that Charlotte, North Carolina would serve as a strategic foothold for revival; one that would move from the East Coast and sweep the nation. The Encounter Charlotte laid the foundation for a vibrant church family rooted in Scripture, the power of the Holy Spirit, and a commitment to faithful discipleship.
As the calling expanded, the church stepped into a new season as Revival Nation Church. This transition reflects not a change in doctrine, leadership, or people, but a broader assignment. Revival Nation Church remains the same church family under the same leadership and biblical foundation; now stewarding a national and generational mandate to equip believers, strengthen the body of Christ, and serve both local gatherings and a growing national audience through teaching, media, and ministry resources.
In alignment with this expansion, Bishop Alan’s online ministry, formerly Encounter Today, now operates under the Revival Nation banner, continuing its mission to deliver biblically grounded teaching, prophetic insight, and timely encouragement to believers around the world.
Bishop Alan is a best-selling author of multiple books and hosts teaching and media platforms that reach millions globally. In 2022, he was ordained as a Bishop and Overseer in City Harvest Network.
He and his wife have two children and firmly believe that family is the first and most important ministry any believer is entrusted with.
