DOJ Subpoenas Transgender Clinics Over Transitioning Children

In a bold move to safeguard America’s children, the Justice Department, under the leadership of Chad Mizelle, has unleashed a barrage of nearly 20 subpoenas targeting doctors and clinics pushing radical transgender medical procedures on vulnerable children.

Announced during the Federal Trade Commission’s hard-hitting workshop on the “Dangers of ‘Gender Affirming-Care’ For Minors” in Washington, D.C., Mizelle exposed the DOJ’s aggressive investigations into healthcare fraud, false statements, and other deceptive practices plaguing the transgender medicine industry.

Mizelle issued a rallying cry to Americans nationwide, urging those harmed by this predatory industry to step forward and expose its dangerous lies: “If you’ve been victimized, come forward and let us know,” he declared, signaling a no-holds-barred fight against those profiting off irreversible procedures on children.

The workshop, a clear reflection of President Donald Trump’s unwavering executive orders to protect children from transgender procedures and combat radical ideology, featured a powerful panel of detransitioner survivors and parents, including Prisha Mosley, Soren Aldaco, Beth Bourne, Forrest Smith, Helen Spiegel Lee, and Gwen Turecki. Their gut-wrenching testimonies laid bare the devastating toll of gender transition attempts, with one mother, Elvira Syed, breaking down in tears as she recounted her daughter’s tragic suicide at 18, a victim of toxic gender ideology.

The FTC, armed with Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act, is cracking down on the transgender medicine industry’s deceptive practices, targeting medical professionals who hide risks or peddle false claims about the benefits of so-called “gender-affirming care” for chidren.

The event’s description states: “Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act gives the FTC broad authority to protect consumers from unfair or deceptive acts or practices” and that “this authority could be implicated if there is evidence that medical professionals or others omitted warnings about the risks or made false or unsupported claims about the benefits and effectiveness of gender-affirming care for minors.”

“The workshop will help the FTC to understand whether consumers are being or have been exposed to false or unsupported claims about ‘gender-affirming care’ and to gauge the harms consumers may be experiencing.”

Doctors, medical ethicists, whistleblowers, detransitioners, and parents united at the event to expose the industry’s manipulative tactics, sounding the alarm on the profound harms inflicted on America’s youth.
