Canadian Leader Advocates For 'New World Order' - Encounter Today - Blog

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney stated the world was “more dangerous and divided” than ever, which places the so-called “rules-based global order” under threat.

“We can nostalgically look back and long for the old order to somehow return or we can build a new one with purpose and partnership,” he stated whilst talking in Brussels.

Whilst overseas, Carney advocated for a Canada-EU alliance, saying, “This strategic partnership will make our economies and security stronger, but Canada must be aware of protecting its own interests.” And whilst he commented on this cooperation coming forth without sacrificing sovereignty, his policy priorities betray otherwise as he continues to advocate the interests of globalists over independent states.

Carney, a former central banker, stated that he felt more at home in Brussels than Washington DC due to the “very hot” tensions with the U.S. “As the most European of the non-European countries, Canada looks first to the European Union to build a better world, and that’s what today is about.”

Fact of the matter is this: Carney’s discomfort is a result of the threat that the U.S. is to the “global order” due to the Trump administration’s strong stance on national sovereignty and how Trump’s policies shine a glaring light on the positions the Canadian government has been taking. Meanwhile, Canada and the European Union have shown themselves united in selling out to the globalist’s dystopian new world order. This is no surprise but it does explain the Canadian Prime Minister’s comments.

On European Commission connections, Carney referred to their shared principles on defense, specifically regarding Ukraine, to which Canada has committed $4.3 billion worth of defense support during the G7 Summit this week. This funding includes $2 billion for drones, ammunition, and armored vehicles.

“We admire what you’re doing,” Carney told Zelenskyy on May 17. “We admire your commitment to peace.”

This level of support was presented by Carney as one of Canada’s NATO obligations, but the measure has since faced challenges internally as the nation recently declared that it was in economic recession.

Whilst at the NATO summit this week at The Hague, Carney committed Canada to increasing her NATO spending to 5% by 2035 due to mounting pressures by the U.S. for all NATO members to increase spending, which in turn relieves the predominant fiscal burden off the shoulders of the U.S. and onto all members.
