Trans Women Aren't Women, UK Supreme Court Rules - Encounter Today - Blog

The United Kingdom’s Supreme Court has unanimously ruled on the side of biological fact; that so-called “transgender women” do not fit the legal definition of a “woman.”

This landmark decision paves the way for tighter limits on female-only spaces and services across the UK, a major win for women!

The three women responsible for this momentous occasion are Trina Budge, Marion Calder, Susan Smith all of whom belong to “Women For Scotland,” a group a women who work together to “protect and strengthen women and children’s rights.”

The legal definition of a ‘woman’ is now legally reserved for those born biologically female.

The court confirmed that the ruling doesn’t “remove protection from trans people,” who are “protected from discrimination on the ground of gender reassignment” and went on to say that just because an individual identifies as “transgender” and has documentation which recognizes them as “female,” this is not grounds for them to be considered a woman for equality purposes.

“Man”, “woman” and “sex” all refer to biological sex in UK law; what a day to be alive, when we celebrate common sense and biological fact.

But, in the day in which we live, celebrating a win in the fight for recognition of how God created humanity – in His image – is well worth it.
