Planned Parenthood Made “Mistake” Giving Kids Sexualizing Books

In yet another disturbing example of Planned Parenthood’s increasingly radical agenda, the organization has admitted to distributing sexually explicit coloring books to children as young as eight years old during a field trip to the Kentucky Science Center.
Initially denying the incident, Planned Parenthood was forced to backtrack and admit the material had, in fact, been given to children—calling it an “inadvertent” mistake. But the damage is done.
Planned Parenthood has a toolkit for schools to teach kids ages 10 and under that prostitution is normal interpersonal relationship.

That's Comprehensive Sex Education.

The incident occurred on March 21, when a group of students, aged 8 to 13, visited the science center as part of an educational outing.
According to a report from WLKY, the coloring book handed out included outlines of male and female genitalia, a “sexlib” fill-in-the-blank game about condoms, and other sexually charged content that has no place in the hands of elementary and middle schoolers.
The Kentucky Science Center, which hosted the event, quickly distanced itself from the debacle, stating unequivocally: “This partner is no longer welcome at the Science Center.”
The center’s move reflects a growing frustration among parents and educational institutions over the overtly ideological and sexualized content that Planned Parenthood and similar groups are pushing—often under the guise of “health education.”
This revelation is especially troubling given the fact that Planned Parenthood continues to receive massive amounts of federal funding—nearly $700 billion of taxpayer money in 2023 alone.
Whilst the organization maintains that this money is not used for abortion-related services, the line between its educational outreach and its ideological indoctrination is becoming increasingly blurred.
A Pattern, Not a One-Off
Whilst Planned Parenthood is spinning this as a “mistake,” the reality is this is part of a broader pattern.
For years, concerned parents and watchdog groups have raised red flags about the organization’s sex education materials, which many argue are not age-appropriate, overly graphic, and politically driven.
Planned Parenthood’s curriculum often includes guidance on gender identity, sexual orientation, and sexual exploration for children—sometimes even without parental consent. This incident in Kentucky simply brings the issue into sharp focus: the line between education and indoctrination has been crossed.
You might be asking yourself the question, “what does sexualizing young children have to do with education?” Nothing, absolutely nothing.
The same ideological drive behind the move to give children explicit materials at a science center and is the same ideology which pushes sexualizing materials onto children at school.
Planned Parenthood is very intentional in pushing content to children to groom them, why else would 8 years old children be handed books about having sex?
Parental Rights Under Assault
Concerned parents are asking the right questions of their school boards: How did we get to a point where sexually explicit materials are being handed out to children in science centers? Why is a taxpayer-funded organization distributing this content without clear oversight or accountability?
This isn’t just about one coloring book—it’s about who gets to decide what children are exposed to.
More and more, parents are finding themselves cut out of the conversation. The progressive left has worked tirelessly to dismantle parental rights in favor of “experts” and “educators” who claim to know what’s best for our kids.
Planned Parenthood International has even gone so far as to label their version of sex-education as a child’s “human right!”
Time to Reevaluate Funding
This incident should serve as a wake-up call for lawmakers and voters alike.
Why are American taxpayers funding an organization that fails to exercise basic discretion over the materials it hands to children? If Planned Parenthood can’t be trusted with educational outreach, how can it be trusted with any taxpayer dollars at all?
Calls to defund Planned Parenthood over committing abortions gained traction over the past several decades, but recently, their push for explicit so-called “sex-ed” has pushed Americans over the edge.
The Kentucky coloring book scandal is not a small misstep—it’s a glaring symptom of a much larger issue.
The Bottom Line
Planned Parenthood has repeatedly shown that its priorities lie not with public health, but with pushing a radical social agenda. Whether it’s abortion on demand or sexually explicit materials marketed to children, the organization has crossed boundaries that should be off-limits in any civilized society.
If there was ever a time to reevaluate Planned Parenthood’s role in our schools, our communities, and our public funding structures, it is now.
Mistake or not, children were exposed to material no parent would willingly approve—and that should outrage every American.
