White House Celebrates ‘Holy Week’

President Trump issued a faith-filled presidential message on Palm Sunday in honor of ‘Holy Week’ as Christians around the globe commemorate the holiest week of the year as we remember Jesus claiming victory over death and securing our salvation!

Reports have emerged that his administration is also planning an Easter worship ceremony for staff at the White House with Reverend Franklin Graham, Pastor Greg Laurie and Pastor Jentezen Franklin in attendance.

Posting on TruthSocial, the president said:

“This Holy Week, Christians around the World remember the Crucifixion of God’s Only Begotten Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and, on Easter Sunday, we celebrate His Glorious Resurrection and proclaim, as Christians have done for nearly 2,000 years, ‘HE IS RISEN!’”

He continued, “Through the pain and sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross, we saw God’s boundless Love and Devotion to all Humanity and, in that moment of His Resurrection, History was forever changed with the Promise of Everlasting Life.”

This wasn’t the usual, bland official government statement, it used the language used by Christians and pointed to the truth of Easter – Jesus Christ.

He declared, “This Holy Week, Melania and I join in prayer with Christians celebrating the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—the living Son of God who conquered death, freed us from sin, and unlocked the gates of Heaven for all of humanity.”

In a world full of political leaders such as the UK’s Kier Starmer who, instead of celebrating Palm Sunday in the Christian nation over which he presides, took the opportunity to celebrate a Sikh holiday which commemorates the false god, Khalsa, we thank God America has a leader who recognizes and publicly declares the good news of the gospel.
