DC’s BLM Mural Removed. Thank God!

Washington DC’s Black Lives Matter Plaza street mural is being dismantled as legislation is moving forward to withhold the city’s funding unless the area is renamed “Liberty Plaza” and the mural removed.

The mural came to be in 2020 following the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor and the Black Lives Matter (BLM) group came into the spotlight. For those who don’t know, BLM was founded and led by self-identified trained Marxists.

Representative Andrew Clyde introduced a bill last week to “withhold certain apportionment funds from the District of Columbia unless the Mayor of the District of Columbia removes the phrase Black Lives Matter from the street symbolically designated as Black Lives Matter Plaza, redesignates such street as Liberty Plaza, and removes such phrase from each website, document, and other material under the jurisdiction of the District of Columbia.”

DC’s Mayor Muriel Bowser has voiced her opposition to the bill, fitting, seeing as she was the one who announced the construction of Black Lives Matter Plaza back in 2020 which was to be conveniently situated on 16th Street NW just north of Lafayette Square and the White House.

The mural was part of DC’s America 250 mural scheme, which Mayor Bowser said would be “where we will invite students and artists to create new murals across all eight wards.”

“But now we can’t afford to be distracted by meaningless congressional interference. The devastating impacts of the federal job cuts must be our number one concern. Our focus is on economic growth, public safety, and supporting our residents affected by these cuts.”

Pastor John K. Amanchukwu Sr. was in DC where he walked along the area, discussing the history of Black Lives Matter (BLM), as well as highlighting one of the most concerning personalities which founded BLM – Patrice Cullors.

Amanchukwu pointed out how Cullors wanted to “destroy and disrupt the nuclear family.”

This point in particular holds a disturbing revelation within it as Amanchukwu reveals that, “between the 1890’s all the way up to the 1950’s, the black marriage rate rivaled that of whites,” he said. “But after Lyndon B. Johnson came along with these welfare states and found a creative way to get the black man out of the home and to replace him with a $300 check, the marriage rate in the black community plummeted.”

He continued, “Today, nearly 75% of black homes are led by a single parent, in particular, a mother. So why would a black organization want to destroy the nuclear family?”

Amanchukwu’s answer?

“Because they are anti-christ, they’re anti-truth and they’re anti-God.”

“In the same manner that God removed this mess [as he panned over the area where the BLM mural once filled the street] … every person that fights against Him will be removed as well.”

America is healing, from her streets to her people, this isn’t just a political revival but a spiritual one.
