The Supreme Court Coup, What You Need To Know
Radical proposals aimed at “reforming” the U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) have sparked significant debate, with critics warning these changes could undermine the integrity of the nation’s judicial system.
Far-left factions, including Kamala Harris, are pushing for extensive reforms, alleging that SCOTUS has “lost credibility” among the American public.
However, recent polling data suggests that this claim may not reflect the views of the majority.
“Reform the court” means expanding the SCOTUS. This is radical and extreme. You’ve been warned.:skin-tone-2: pic.twitter.com/z3rR2pCjb4

A poll conducted by Marquette Law School reveals that approval ratings for SCOTUS are on the rise, with 45% of American adults expressing satisfaction with the justices’ performance—up from 43% in July.
Additionally, a Gallup survey found that 48% of respondents trust the judicial branch a “great deal” or “fair amount.”
While public confidence in various government branches has declined, the judiciary remains the most trusted sector of the federal government.
A Mason-Dixon poll commissioned by First Liberty further supports this trend, showing that 87% of Americans believe an independent judiciary is crucial for safeguarding civil liberties.
The most important & terrifying part of Biden's Oval Office address was his call for Supreme Court reform. SCOTUS is SHRINKING the size of the government & returning power to the people. So, Biden punishes it?! This is anti-Republic and anti-Democratic. pic.twitter.com/CR2ZbnqtGx

Despite the growing support for the Court, there is considerable public resistance to proposed measures aimed at delegitimizing and politicizing it.
The Mason-Dixon poll highlights widespread opposition to several specific reforms:
- 52% oppose amending the Constitution to alter the Supreme Court’s structure
- 59% are against increasing the number of justices
- 76% view the push for expansion as politically motivated
- 64% believe that packing the Court threatens civil liberties
- 60% think granting Congress authority to enforce an “ethics code” would violate the separation of powers
- 57% assert that a Congressional “ethics code” would compromise judicial independence
As these discussions continue, many Americans remain wary of what they perceive as an attempt to erode the authority of the justices and their rulings.
These “reforms” are a blatant power grab that are disguised as “efforts” to enhance judicial integrity.
