The Rainbow Revival: A Testimony of Transformation

“God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant.” Romans 5:20
Ex-LGBTQ+ individuals are now boldly and passionately sharing their stories of coming to the Lord as a “Rainbow Revival” is sweeping across the LGBTQ+ community!
Thanks to the intercessory prayers of faithful Christians, many stories of those who have been saved from the bondage of this lifestyle were put on full display at the Freedom March in Chicago this weekend!
This revival is reminiscent of the Jesus Revolution among hippies in the 1970s, says Jay Peters, a missionary to Chicago who joined the Freedom March and Rainbow Revival.
Peters’ desire is to see Chicago shaken, especially amongst those who identify as LGBTQ+.
“God is going to raise up people from the LGBTQ community to bring revival and leaders who will change what is happening in this nation and this world,” Peters told CBN News.
This weekend in Chicago, Jessica Rose delivered a heartfelt and courageous testimony at the Freedom March, reflecting on her journey out of a tangled web of confusion surrounding gender and sexuality.
For 15 years, Rose identified as bisexual, a lesbian, and eventually medically transitioned into to a “trans man.”
Growing up in a single parent household, Rose took on a masculine identity, seeking to fill the roles of father and brother.
Rose went on to marry a woman and took on a stepchild. “I grew a beard and tried to be a ‘bad dude,’” she said, “At least, that’s how I saw myself.”
This put Rose in an extremely difficult place relationally with the rest of her family.
Crushed by the weight of her brokenness, Rose attempted suicide.
After being rushed to the hospital and placed in a mental health facility, she was prescribed medication for her struggles with anxiety, depression, and psychotic episodes.
Her life took a dramatic turn, however, when her boss shared the message of Jesus—the transformative power of His love, His sacrifice, and the free gift of salvation.
For the first time, Jessica felt a flicker of hope arise within her.
As she embarked on the journey of learning about forgiveness, grace, and walking in the Spirit, she felt the Lord urging her to “surrender control.”
Walking in obedience, miracle after miracle followed!
“From that day, I’ve been off testosterone for three years. I’ve learned I can now breastfeed and carry a baby,” Rose said.
In addition to this, her body was miraculously healed by the Lord!
“My breasts grew back after surgery to remove them. This is a real miracle! This is all me.”
Speaking to attendees at the Freedom March in Chicago, Jessica emphasized that sharing her testimony was meant to encourage others, especially parents, who fear their children may be lost to the LGBTQ+ lifestyle forever.
“I stand before you as a woman of God, praising and dancing in His presence,” she exclaimed, celebrating her transformation as she embraced her identity in Christ.
Conclusion
As believers, we know that so long as there is breath, there is hope!
Jesus has never given up on us, so we shouldn’t give up on others!
In these end times, we are witnessing the fulfillment of Matthew 24 where sin isn’t just praised but promoted. We see this most especially through sinful lifestyles which express themselves with such flamboyance.
Despite this, we also know that God’s arms are open and the free gift of salvation is for these very people!
May we, just like those who host and take part in the Freedom March, never give up hope on those Jesus gave His life for. May we be the hands and feet of Jesus in this lost and dying world.
Just as we read with Jessica Rose’s story, hope is never lost and prayer makes the difference!
So whether you are a parent who’s child is lost in the LGBTQ+ lifestyle, or you are personally struggling with identity, Jesus is in the business of transformation and renewal.
He sees your child and He sees you!
No one is too far gone for Christ, and for this, we praise God.
Thank you for your support.
