250,000 Women Gather & Pray For America In DC
Tens of thousands of Christian men and women came together in our nation’s capitol this past Saturday, uniting in prayer for our nation to return to God.
The “A Million Women” gathering was a powerful 12-hour live-streamed event, filled with worship, inspiring messages, and heartfelt prayers aimed at restoring America to godly values.

This was the cry on Saturday in Washington DC.
Jesus, we plead your blood over our sins and the sins of our nation. God end abortion. Send revival to America! :flag-il::us: pic.twitter.com/AESqaBt6cU
This was “a gathering for those hungry to see the Lord’s hand cover this nation…to fast and pray in unity as a LAST STAND moment for America.”
Millions joined online, making this a historic occasion in our nation’s history.
This gathering resembles a similar stand taken by three million men back in 1997 who descended on the Mall in Washington, D.C. for a day of prayer and repentance.

After what God did with #amillionwomen event on the National Mall in DC, I wondered who remembers this  :sob:

For Lou Engle, an evangelist and the organizer of the event, this gathering was the realization of a divine vision.
In 2017, God revealed to Engle a powerful dream that signaled the rise of an “Esther movement” for such a time as this.
“Everyone recognizes that America is in a time of crisis, and the world is facing turmoil,” Engle emphasized.
“Fasting and prayer have always had the power to shift history. Just as Esther was raised up for a pivotal moment, we too are called to intercede for our nation.”

In his dream, Engle saw a woman teaching the book of Esther and making a remarkable connection to the Nazgul from “The Lord of the Rings.” He was inspired by the courageous declaration of a king’s daughter, who faced a great evil with the words, “I am no man!”
This moment ignited within Engle a vision of a mighty women’s movement rising to confront spiritual strongholds and bring forth a righteous change.
On October 12th, the Day of Atonement, Engle witnessed this vision come to life as over 250,000 women gathered to pray and intercede for America on the National Mall.
“On this sacred day, we apply the blood to the doorposts of our national guilt, seeking mercy instead of judgment. We will partake in a powerful communion service, pleading for God’s mercy to pour over our nation,” he declared.
NBC news reporting tens of thousands showed up to A Million Women yesterday, haha! Well more than a quarter of a million showed up in person.

Additionally, thousands of men joined this momentous gathering.
“We believe it is an Esther-Mordecai moment, a time for us to unite before the heart of God, believing in His power to heal our nation and our hearts,” Engle added.
Known for leading “The Call” prayer events, Engle views this gathering as one of the most significant prayer meetings of his lifetime.
“As we read in Joel chapter two, when hope seems lost and no remedy exists, we must blow the trumpet in Zion and call for a fast. In those moments, God releases His mercy upon a nation. We believe we are in such a moment now, and when we gather in faith, the Lord will fight for us.”
Yesterday something supernatural happened in D.C. Women from all over the country and even the world showed up to fast and pray for 10 hours nonstop!
