They’re Poisoning Your Children
Invisible threats are being snuck into your children’s school lunches (and everything else in our supermarkets).
America’s schools serve roughly 30 million lunches every day and whilst they need to hit certain standards in terms of calories, sodium, and sugar, they don’t take into account the concerning levels of toxins, chemicals and additives that are also present.
Thanks to a study initiated by 7News, school lunches were sent to the Health Research Institute which uncovered heavy metals, pesticides, and veterinary drugs in kid’s lunches.
Unregulated components that have been connected to ADHD, hormone disruption and cancers were all found in the food our children are consuming at school.
Here are just a couple of the concerning elements that were discovered:
Pesticides
- 50+ pesticides were found in the samples sent to the lab
- 38 different pesticides were detected in just one elementary school lunch
- 23 pesticides were found in a single strawberry cup
- The fungicide, carbendazim, which is banned in most European countries,
- Brazil and Australia because it is increasingly connected to cancer, infertility, and birth defects, was found in five of our twelve samples
- Glyphosate, a widely used and controversial weed killer, often marketed as Round-Up, and connected to cancer, diabetes, and heart problems, was detected in multiple samples, often in wheat-based products like bread
- Dicamba, a weed killer associated with certain types of cancer, was present in one of our samples
- 2,4D, a weed killer shown to increase the risk of some cancers was found in two of our samples
Heavy Metals
- Cadmium, a known carcinogen, was detected in our samples at a level 12 times higher than the FDA’s limit for bottled water
- Arsenic was found in rice that was 6 times higher than what’s allowed in apple juice
- Lead, of which there is no safe level, was found in 100% of our samples
Recently, a group of experts and professionals joined lawmakers for a roundtable on American Health & Nutrition on Capitol Hill.
A roundtable was hosted yesterday on American Health & Nutrition with Jason Karp showing the difference between the food coloring used in Canada's Fruit Loop Cereal and America's version. pic.twitter.com/GpzvFPExmN

During the meeting, Jason Karp, a health and wellness entrepreneur, held up two boxes of the Fruit Loop cereal brand; one from Canada and one from America to show the stark contrast in food dyes used.
The Canadian version of the cereal was noticeably different.
They’ve replaced natural ingredients with chemicals, commodified animals into industrialized widgets, and treated our God-given planet as an inexhaustible resource. Sick Americans are learning the hard way that food and agriculture shouldn’t be scaled like iPhones.

Exposure to heavy metals and dyes are well known to be dangerous to a child’s developing brain.
Sounding the alarm on a larger scale has been Robert F. Kennedy Jr. who has endorsed former President Trump in this upcoming election due to his commitment to “Make America Healthy Again.”
The Democrats, who claim to be all about health care have stood by watching other countries ban these poisons that make our kids sick. Enough is enough. President Trump and I are going to stop the mass poisoning of American children. pic.twitter.com/Rf04MrF9e8

“It’s no coincidence Americans die earlier than Canadians or Germans…or many other comparable countries. And it wasn’t always that way until the early 1990’s…” Kennedy says.
And here’s what he’s talking about:
In the 1990s, a class of neurotoxic insecticides made their way to the market.
They’re now the most popular in the US, called “neonics.” In the first study we discussed in this article, six of these neonics were found in the school lunch samples that were tested.
Kennedy says that when restaurants contaminate food, they get fined, but what about the government? They are the ones approving the poisons that are causing sickness and disease?
What happens is a few people get wealthy whilst American’s health suffers.
Over the course of a couple years, the U.S. government banned eight chemical additives that cause cancer and many other diseases.
All eight of these chemicals were banned under President Trump’s administration.
The mass poisoning of America’s children and the rest of the population needs to end and starting with school lunches is a great place to begin.
Conclusion
As children of God who are called to take care of our temples (or bodies) which have been given to us by God (1 Cor 6:19-20), actively taking charge of that which we feed ourselves and our families is crucial, so too is finding ways to improve all that which we consume.
And at that point, it comes down to the laws which either ban or allow dangerous chemicals to touch that which we consume.
Whilst these things are concerning, we must also remember that God has told us:
“And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name, they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” Mark 16:17-18
