United Nations Terrified of a Trump Presidency

Undercover footage featuring a United Nations legal affairs employee has intensified scrutiny on Trump’s stance toward various U.N. agencies plagued by scandal.

The video, first revealed by the Louder with Crowder podcast, shows a U.N. Office of Legal Affairs official saying, “I’m not sure the United Nations as an institution is going to survive a second term by Trump.”

Stéphane Dujarric, spokesman for the U.N. Secretary-General, gave comment to Fox News Digital upon the emergence of the undercover footage, saying:

“The gentleman you refer to is not a senior U.N. official. He is a junior staffer… His comments were recorded in what seemed to be a restaurant private setting without his knowledge. He was not speaking on behalf of the Organization in any way, shape or form.”

Dujarric didn’t address if the U.N. as a body was scared of a second Trump presidency, however, those fears could very well be legitimate and there’s more than just a few reasons why…

During his time in office, Trump ceased funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) as this agency is well-known to hire Hamas sympathizers.

Earlier this year, the U.N. had to dismiss nine UNRWA employees over their alleged involvement in the October 7 Hamas massacre, which killed nearly 1,200 people in southern Israel, including over 30 Americans.

Trump also withdrew from the U.N. Human Rights Council, the World Health Organization, UNESCO, UNFPA, and the Paris climate agreement.

Withdrawal from these branches of the globalist organization financially stung and forced other nations to step in with additional funds to keep the U.N. operations in tact.

When the Trump administration pulled out from UNESCO, a State Department spokesperson stated the withdrawal was due to “mounting arrears at UNESCO, the need for fundamental reform in the organization and continuing anti-Israel bias at UNESCO.”

In 2021, former Trump U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley cautioned against rejoining the Human Rights Council, criticizing it for being influenced by regimes like China and Cuba.

Haley stated, “If President Biden truly cared about human rights, he would keep us far away from the cesspool that is the U.N. Human Rights Council.”

Upon entering the oval office, President Biden promptly rejoined the U.N. bodies, as well as the agreements Trump had left, including the Paris climate deal.

Nevertheless, Biden suspended funds for UNRWA after Israel exposed its role in the Hamas attack, whilst this is easily quantifiable as a “good” move, it is not enough. Removing U.S. funding from other U.N. bodies is essential.

Democrats and the U.N.

There is a disturbing love affair between Democrats and the U.N., which many first woke up to when Obama went to the U.N. Security Council to adopt the catastrophic Iran deal before even bothering to ask Congress!

Obama-Harris Democrats took this a step further in using the Security Council to hurl one resolution after another at Israel whilst never condemning Hamas for their actions against America’s closest ally.

Standing in stark contrast, Trump consistently rejected U.N. schemes to bypass American and Israeli sovereignty, instead calling out the U.N. and holding them to account!

Fast forward and we saw also a Democrat White House choose to join the U.N. ‘Human Rights’ Council.

This move resulted in the legitimatization of this disastrous U.N. body which is used by the world’s evil actors to attack Israel and her allies. Human rights abusing nations also use this falsely “prestigious” organization to cover up their own human rights atrocities.

This is yet another reason why Trump withdrew from the UNHRC.

Conclusion

The U.N. of today has completely forsaken its original purpose, instead choosing to become a bastion of the woke mob, a bully pulpit, using its influence to attack the rights and freedoms of so many the world over.

This Israel-hating, anti-American institution should be able to hate our nation’s values and those we stand with for free, we shouldn’t be funding them to spread their hatred globally. This is purely nonsensical.

The removal of funds from the globalist entity will be standard procedure for a second Trump presidency seeing as the U.N. has a strong and proven bias against the U.S. closest ally, Israel, as well as a definite hatred of American values.

And now, we come full circle by asking a question: Should the U.N. be scared of a second Trump presidency?

Yes, they absolutely should be and this should cause the American people to rejoice because any time a globalist is scared, it means the good guys are winning.
