Shooter Targets Pastor Greg Locke’s Home
Greg Locke, pastor of Global Vision Bible Church in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, was the target of a drive-by shooting on Tuesday night (Sept. 3).
Although his home was struck by 30-40 bullets, no injuries were reported.

A madman unloaded an entire magazine into their home last night outside of Nashville.. one of their children was home, but thankfully in another part of the house.… pic.twitter.com/4Lhb1ps7GA
In a social media update shared early Wednesday morning, Locke revealed the shooting occurred just moments before he and his family arrived home.
At the time of the shooting, one of Locke’s children was present in the house, thankfully, the child was in a part of the home that wasn’t hit by bullets.
Locke posted images of the damage, including a photo of a bullet hole in the headboard of his youngest daughter’s bed: “It’s 2:00am and for the last 3 hours our home has been a full blown crime scene.”
The Wilson County Sheriff's Office, TN is investigating after the home of pastor who leads a controversial Mt. Juliet church was shot at dozens of times.

According to a Facebook post, Greg Locke came home one minute after the suspect fired up to forty shots. pic.twitter.com/LaXspHWr4X
“According to the security cam footage, we pulled into our driveway exactly ONE MINUTE after a madman unloaded an entire magazine of bullets from an automatic weapon into our house, garage, and my truck.”
He described the sound captured on the security footage as “truly horrific” and noted that detectives spent “a good while” at the scene collecting evidence.
Locke announced that he and his family “are all being security escorted to a hotel tonight.”
Death threats aren’t a new phenomena to the Locke family.
In 2022, after Locke criticized what he perceived as witchcraft and demonic activity both inside and outside the church, someone posted a picture of a gun on social media with the message: “I’m on my way.” Locke claimed the person knew where his family lived.
Meanwhile, just before an Easter morning service, a man set fire to a trailer filled with Bibles near the church entrance.
Less than two weeks ago, following Locke’s public support for Israel on social media, a man responded with a threat to kill him.
Please pray for the Locke family and their church. Pray for continued boldness and courage to continue to stand in defiance of this evil and to continue taking ground for the kingdom. Pray for justice to be served. And finally, thank God for His continued hand of protection and provision over the Locke family, the church congregation and all that is in their care.
Psalm 91
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, You are my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly plague.
He will cover you with His feathers; under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the calamity that destroys at noon.
Though a thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, no harm will come near you. You will only see it with your eyes and witness the punishment of the wicked.
Because you have made the LORD your dwelling—my refuge, the Most High—no evil will befall you, no plague will approach your tent. For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the lion and cobra; you will trample the young lion and serpent. “Because he loves Me, I will deliver him; because he knows My name, I will protect him. When he calls out to Me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.”
