America Has Woken Up And Now They Want Fair Elections

Introduction

Being on the ground in multiple states has been eye opening. Something that we’re realizing is that the media is giving us a different perspective of what’s going on in the elections for 2024. I’ve never seen what I’ve seen this year. People are concerned about the country and they long for a change and it is not going to happen if they don’t show up at the polls.

Americans have awakened. They see a declining economy, a poor education system, and a complete loss of American values and culture. True the Vote is fighting for the voice of every American to preserve what the founding fathers fought for; a free and just country in which every citizen has a voice.

How does non-citizen voting occur?

There are many illegal immigrants coming through the border who claim political asylum. When these immigrants arrive in the US they receive an ID so they are able to work and receive a salary. According to the NewYork Post’s recent article, “welfare offices and other agencies in 49 states are providing voter registration forms to migrants without requiring proof of citizenship.”

Many Americans are unaware that there is no Federal Law that prevents citizens from voting without showing some form of ID. You can affirm your identity by just signing a form, and it is logical to say that this is not safe at all.

Illegal immigrants are not the ones at fault. They believe they’re immediately entitled to certain rights by just getting a work authorization form from DACA that requires renewal every 2 years. Therefore if they receive a voting registration card it can be confusing to them. On top of this, there are 16 States that do not require ID when voting at the polls. How are you going to verify citizenship status when you can’t verify identity?

What is the largest voting block and why is it significant?

According to Pew research center it is believed that 36 million Hispanics are eligible to vote for the 2024 election. It was 32.3 million in 2020 and now it is up to almost 4 million voters. This represents 50% of the total growth in eligible voters during this time. Hispanics are going to have a big voting block. I am noticing that more Hispanics are getting involved locally and want to make a change in their communities. Hispanics that are now naturalized are very proud to be an American. I’m connecting with Hispanic leaders all over the nation so we can inform the Hispanic community together and make sure they have election information available.

What are you witnessing on the ground from voters?

Going to different states and being able to speak to hundreds has been a great way to
understand what America is going through. Voters this year don’t only want to vote but they want to serve as poll watchers or be involved in elections in some way. Americans are telling us that they don’t trust the electoral process. Many are concerned about what happened in 2020 and they’re sure that it was a rigged election.

Many people don’t speak about these issues openly because they feel they will be attacked for being a “conspiracy theorist”. I’ve heard many citizens say they were called “conspiracy theorists.” But now they report their family members are now turning around because of the evidence of fraud that is now coming out.

Something else I have witnessed is that there are many Trump supporters. You would think that his support would decrease with all the trials and accusations but it has actually increased. True the Vote is a non-partisan organization so we’ve had the privilege of attending both Biden and Trump rallies. We have witnessed thousands getting in line for Trump rallies starting at 4am to be able to get in. It gets that packed.

We were in the Bronx recently and I was amazed to see Americans from different backgrounds and ethnicities come together because they want to see a change in the nation. Being witness to everything that’s happening on the ground helped me understand why Americans feel they are being manipulated.

I was at the airport after the rally in the Bronx and as I was watching the news, a reporter was talking about this same rally that I had been to. It was crazy to watch the news and hear this woman saying something totally different to what I witnessed in person. The reporter said something along the lines of, “Donald Trump and his clown supporters, there was barely any support there.” I was astounded because I was just there and I witnessed something very different to what she was saying!

This experience made a click in mind. I now understand that Americans are experiencing a lot of media manipulation but the difference is that now they are aware of it. Americans are watching the news and then they’re looking at live videos in social media of the same events and they know they’re not being told the truth. People love this nation and they’re tired of manipulation, lies and they are truly concerned that America is going downhill.

Why should people, especially Christians, be engaged in elections?

I’m a core believer that Christians should be involved in everything. We should be in business, government, entertainment, and everything that is a place of influence. When we vote we have the responsibility to choose for our families, communities, education, economy and everything that will affect our future

We have to see it through this lens. Will the future government affect my constitutional right of freedom of religion? Will it affect the education of my children? Will it affect our financial situation as a family? Is my family safe in this country? The point here is that our future elected will end up affecting everything about our lives.

As Christians we must elect leaders who will align with our values, belief and faith and if we don’t we’re not doing right by our Christian values.

Let’s align everything that I’m talking about with the Word. When the prophet Daniel was in a leadership position with different governments that he served. He always spoke to the Kings he served about his God, talking about His might and Power. He would try to involve God in every wise decision that he would make even though the kings had different idols that they worshiped. God used Joseph, Ester, Daniel and so many servants of His to protect the people of Israel. It is the same in motheirdern days, God can place people in power that will protect His chosen people. His people are the devoted Christians who will not compromise belief to the modern way of living.

Election integrity all over the nation is our number one goal. Far too many Americans, feeling their votes lack impact, choose not to participate.
