Jew’s Involvement in Jesus’ Death Now “Hate Speech”?
A majority of House Republicans just voted for a bill to criminalize criticisms of the Israeli government, as well as defining any allegations that there was Jewish involvement in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ which would be deemed as anti semitic.
Under this bill, Americans would be “guilty” of “hate speech” if they “apply double standards” to the government of Israel or accuse it of genocide.
This is truly one of the deceptive and idiotic pieces of legislation we’ve ever seen.
HOUSE PASSES antisemitism bill, 320-91

Representative Chip Roy took to the House floor to speak out against the bill as it is being used to, “take advantage of this political moment while all these horrific things are going on around the country, Republican leadership wanted to score political points, so they moved through legislation without the kind of deliberation or debate that is supposed to be carried out by the people of this chamber.”
Note that Representative Roy is a Republican rebuking his own party’s leadership.
In forcing people to pick a side between the Mohammedans and the Jews, people have forgotten to take the side of Christ.

Is America not a Christian nation, made up of Christian states, full of Christian people? Why the anti-Christian laws?
According to Roy, the Republicans who voted against the anti-free speech bill (himself included), is due to the lack of proper procedural process around it and because it references an international organization’s definitions of anti semitic behavior.
That “international organization” he referred to is the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA). This organization is responsible for the definition of antisemitism being linked to those who allege Jesus was killed by Jews.
Roy acknowledged the grotesque nature of the “vast majority” of the issues the bill outlines as being anti semitic, however, he also raised a key issue – this bill is littered with first amendment issues.
“The ability of the government to police thought, to police speech…”

“You are empowering that which should never be empowered!"

This bill essentially puts “the government into your head and motivations,” according to Roy.
This bill wants to “insert the government into what you’re thinking and what motivates you,” he says, “you are empowering that which should never be empowered. The ability of the government to police thought! To police your speech! To police your views!”
He carried on saying it is not the thoughts but the actions of people that the government needs to police, a very valid point indeed.
Some are concerned that this move will provide government with the ability to crackdown on Christian’s reading of the Bible as it specifically states that the bill will follow definitions of antisemitism as provided by the IHRA which includes the example of “claims of Jews killing Jesus”.
This is extremely problematic seeing as the Bible states in 1 Thessalonians 2:14-15:
“14 For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of God’s churches in Judea, which are in Christ Jesus: You suffered from your own people the same things those churches suffered from the Jews 15 who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out. They displease God and are hostile to everyone”
Matthew 27:24-25 also reads:
“When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!” 25 All the people answered, “His blood is on us and on our children!””
Candace Owens posted on X:
“When are Christians going to wake up? First professing that “Christ is King” during Easter week is antisemitic. Now, the true story of Christ’s death is deemed antisemitic.
Christians are being told that acknowledging our doctrine or history is a form of antisemitism.”
A similar tactic is being taken up in Canada where the federal Bloc Quebecois Party has put forward a bill that will criminalize Scripture the government deems could be “anti semitic”!

If passed, Bill C-367 could land Christians in jail for quoting the Bible or expressing a faith based opinion if the Canadian government deems it “promotion of hatred or antisemitism”.

Under no circumstances should our freedoms and liberties be under attack from our own politicians! Such individuals swear to uphold the United States Constitution which includes the First Amendment!
The First Amendment guarantees freedoms concerning religion, expression, assembly, and the right to petition. It forbids Congress from both promoting one religion over others and also restricting an individual’s religious practices. It guarantees freedom of expression by prohibiting Congress from restricting the press or the rights of individuals to speak freely. It also guarantees the right of citizens to assemble peaceably and to petition their government.
This bill, which defines alleging Jewish involvement in Jesus Christ’s crucifixion as antisemitism, passed the House with a 320-91 majority.
