El Salvador’s President Springs Investigation On Executive Branch
President of El Salvador Nayib Bukele gathered all the members of the government’s executive branch together to inform them he was launching an investigation into each one of them for corruption and bribery.
The young president posted his meeting with all those in the executive branch on X where he is seen requesting, for the first time mind you, that the Attorney General initiated an investigation into all those present for bribery.
To say the least – the looks on the officials’ faces was nothing short of shock.

The President’s announcement comes after Presidential Commissioner, Christian Herson Flores Sandoval, was arrested for alleged bribery.
“I won’t be the President that didn’t steal but was surrounded by criminals. I want to be remembered as the President who didn’t steal and didn’t let anyone else steal either.”

90% of the US government would be arrested if we did this here
The investigations shows that Christian Herson Flores, using his position as Presidential… pic.twitter.com/W2SIY0v2Qu
The investigations show that Flores, misusing his position as Presidential Commissioner, demanded money from individuals and companies in exchange for benefits and preferential participation in the government’s strategic projects.
This is just the beginning of an extensive investigation, to deduce responsibilities and other corruption crimes. Flores will be presented to the corresponding courts, so that he can be processed and answer to the laws.
Former CIA Ops Officer Bryan Dean Wright posted: “This is how you lead. Whether it is well executed or not, we shall see. But this is how you lead.”
There is a verse in the Bible found in Proverbs 29:2 which says, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”
This verse is exactly what’s happening in Latin America and El Salvador’s Christian President is to thank.
The influence El Salvador’s new anti-corruption and tough on crime policies are having isn’t solely affecting the nation but the nations all around it as leaders from several crime-ravaged nations such as Ecuador, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic have begun to adopt El Salvador’s policies which have resulted in a steep decline in El Salvador’s homicide rates.
President Bukele stated in his surprise investigation announcement, “if there’s one thing I fear, it’s leaving a bad legacy. There are some presidents, some in prison and some on the run, but the most are remembered as criminals, that’s not how I want to be remembered.”
“So I don’t steal…but for one president, President Duarte, people back then used to say: “the President isn’t a thief but he surrounded himself with thieves” … that won’t happen to me.”
