Israel Preparing For Iranian Retaliation
Iran’s leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, is threatening to attack Israel after its deadly airstrikes killed members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) last week.
The Israel Defense Forces stated that it is on high alert after Iran’s “Supreme Leader” promised Israel would “be slapped.”
The Zionist regime’s defeat in Gaza will continue. Their desperate efforts, like the terrorist attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria, will fail to save them from defeat. Of course, they will be punished for that action.

On April 1st, Israel carried out an airstrike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria, killing five military officers and two generals, including Mohammad Reza Zahedi, Iran’s highest-ranking Iranian military leader to be killed thus far.
Iran’s Response
Iran’s response to the airstrikes would be “decisive” according to Iranian Ambassador Hossein Akbari, who survived the attack.
Khamenei posted on X that the IRGC members were “martyrs,” later posting a thread stating that the “Zioist regime” had experienced two defeats – the October 7th attack, as well as the last six months of the conflict where, according to Khamenei, Israel hadn’t been able to reach “compensation” for the attack.

Israel isn’t solely facing conflict externally, however.
If we look at what’s happening inside the country, tensions are increasing as can be seen in videos circulating across social media platforms where Israelis have been out en masse protesting the war, as well as demanding Netanyahu’s resignation.

Issues Fueling the Protests
Hundreds of thousands reportedly have taken to the streets urging the Israeli government to reach a cease-fire deal to free dozens of hostages held in Gaza by Hamas terrorists, as well as Netanyahu’s failure to protect Israel from the October 7th terrorist attack, the issue of early elections, amongst many other issues.
In addition to his banning the Qatari media outlet, Netanyahu has also sought to overhaul the Israeli Supreme Court’s challenge against his judicial overhaul.
According to Valuetainment, “The law removes the Supreme Court’s ability to overturn government decisions on grounds of reasonability, which according to critics will effectively shrink the powers of the country’s highest court and render more power to lawmakers.”
Biden and Netanyahu
U.S. President Joe Biden has been advocating for all involved in the Israel-Hamas War to agree to a ceasefire which has been unsuccessful up to this point. According to the Associated Press, Biden is focusing his administration’s efforts on urging Egypt and Qatar to negotiate with Hamas to agree to a ceasefire.
Iran sent a letter to the U.S. telling it to “step aside,” warning the Biden administration to “not get dragged into (Israel’s Prime Minister) Netanyahu’s trap.”
In a phone call between President Biden and Netanyahu, an “immediate ceasefire” was discussed by Biden who also told Netanyahu that the airstrike that saw aid workers killed and the “overall humanitarian situation” was “unacceptable.”
That being said, Biden reassured Netanyahu that he still has America’s support. The Biden Administration went so far as to transfer billions of dollars worth of bombs and F-35 fighter jets to Israel. Speaking to the media, U.S. officials say America is preparing for Iran’s response but believe Iran won’t advance to war with the West.
