Biden’s FDA Defeated In Ivermectin Lawsuit
Biden’s FDA has agreed to delete and never republish social-media posts which suggest that ivermectin is for animals and not humans.
Ivermectin is a drug doctors all over the world used to treat a variety of diseases but in recent years, it was used to combat COVID-19. However, due to its low cost, extreme effectiveness and availability, big pharma companies and governments demonized the drug, instead propping up their expensive vaccines.
The lawsuit was brought forward by three doctors claiming the FDA was interfering with their ability to practice medicine. The doctors sued the FDA and its Secretary Robert Califf, as well as the Department of Health and Human Services and its Secretary Xavier Becerra,

Doctors Robert Apter, Paul Marik and Mary Talley Bowden filed the lawsuit back in June of 2022 and initially saw the case dismissed on grounds that the FDA had “sovereign immunity.” Despite this dismissal, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit reversed the lower court’s decision saying the “FDA is not a physician” and that “even tweet-sized doses of personalized medical advice are beyond the FDA’s statutory authority.”
The lawsuit also took issue with the FDA’s “Frequently Asked Questions” section. All posts and other materials will be removed within 21 days and then archived as is required by law.
While the FDA still does not approve of using ivermectin to treat COVID-19, the settlement stipulates that the FDA will retire a Consumer update titled, “Why You Should Not Use Ivermectin to Treat or Prevent COVID-19.”
Posts published on X, Facebook and LinkedIn by the FDA will also be deleted and never republished. One such post read: “You are not a horse. Your are not a cow. Seriously, y’all. Stop it.”
Another such post on Instagram read: “You are not a horse. Stop it with the #ivermectin. It’s not authorized for treating #COVID,” as well as a X post that reads, “Hold your horses, y’all. Ivermectin may be trending, but it isn’t authorized or approved to treat COVID-19.”

During the global lockdowns and the rush towards a “cure,” (ahem, controversially rushed and sometimes dangerous “vaccines”) many started using Ivermectin including podcaster Joe Rogan who arguably brought the drug’s use to treat COVID-19 to the forefront. Meanwhile, many “experts” decried the drug as just a “horse dewormer” whilst other doctors contended that it has been safely and effectively used to treat humans for years.
“The agency has chosen to resolve this lawsuit rather than continuing to litigate over statements that are between two and nearly four years old,” the FDA told Newsweek, also stating that “FDA has not admitted any violation of law or any wrongdoing, disagrees with the plaintiff’s allegation that the agency exceeded its authority in issuing the statements challenged in the lawsuit, and stands by its authority to communicate with the public regarding the products it regulates.”
At its website as of Friday, the FDA still is not recommending it for COVID and says large doses are dangerous and that prescriptions should be filled by a pharmacy and taken exactly as prescribed.
Independent Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. posted on X:
Ivermectin is not an exceptional case. The FDA is biased against many low-cost, generic, and/or natural therapies with low profit potential. Could it be because half its funding comes from Big Pharma? https://t.co/LxpqLuvb6A
— Robert F. Kennedy Jr (@RobertKennedyJr) March 22, 2024
The FDA did not respond to Kennedy’s assertion but reiterated it “has not changed its position that currently available clinical trial data do not demonstrate that ivermectin is effective against COVID-19. The agency has not authorized or approved ivermectin for use in preventing or treating COVID-19.”
