Doritos Fires “Trans” Influencer

Doritos Spain terminated their relationship with a so-called “transgender” influencer after he was exposed for making deranged statements online which resurfaced this week.

Ranedo is a self proclaiming “Marxist” that supports “the abolition of [and to] destroy and annihilate the traditional monogamous nuclear family.”

A spokesperson for the company confirmed the partnership between the brand and Iván González Ranedo who is a mere 24 years of age, who goes by the stage name Samantha Hudson, was called off and their promo video featuring the influencer was also removed.

“We have ended the relationship and stopped all related campaign activity due to the comments,” the spokesperson said. “We strongly condemn words or actions that promote violence or sexism of any kind.”

When Ranedo was a teen, it was reported that he tweeted about his desire to do “depraved things” to a child. The other problematic posts released by this individual contained pro-pedophilia and pro-violence content, and as such, Encounter News will not be posting them in this article.

Amongst all the depravity, there are at least two good takeaways for us:

1. People chose to speak up and expose the promotion of absolute wickedness. There was no shyness in how people discussed the issue, only boldness, and secondly,
2. The company removed the individual and took down the portion of their ad campaign the individual was a part of.

As believers, there is power in our presence and in our voice because of what we carry. We have power to change things because of the power of the Holy Spirit!

So let this story encourage you.

If there can be change in a major, secular corporation at this point of time in history because people refused to sit by and allow depravity to be praised, then how much more impactful are our voices when taking a stand for righteousness in any sphere of influence!
