US Gov Requested Banks Flag Transactions Including ‘Trump’ & ‘Religious Texts’

“Financial surveillance: big banks are searching through private transactions for key terms at the request of the federal government. And it looks like there was no warrant requirement, there was no legal process that was done, they just said “get this information”, banks did it,” says Representative Jim Jordan.

“Some of those key terms … if you used Maga or Trump or these transactions took place at a Cabela’s or a Bass Pro Shop or if you were buying religious text, religious information from some bookstore,” Jordan said.

Perhaps most shockingly, the federal investigators asked for a warning of purchases of “religious texts,” including the Bible, that “could indicate extremism.”

“So if you buy a Bible from a bookstore or a fishing licence from Bass Pro Shop or a firearm from Dicks Sporting Goods, you could be flagged as a quote, potential domestic violent extremist,” says Representative Jim Jordan

Who in the government is petitioning the banks to do this?

According to Jordan, it’s the “Treasury Department, DHS (Department of Homeland Security) and the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigations).”

Jordan, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and Select Subcommittee on Weaponization, wrote a letter describing how the federal government flagged very specific terms when sifting through Americans’ financial transactions following the January 6th Capitol riot.

“These materials included a document recommending the use of generic terms like ‘TRUMP’ and ‘MAGA’ to ‘search Zelle payment messages’ as well as a ‘prior FinCEN analysis’ of ‘Lone Actor/Homegrown Violent Extremism Indicators.’ According to this analysis, FinCEN warned financial institutions of ‘extremism’ indicators that include ‘transportation charges, such as bus tickets, rental cars, or plane tickets, for travel to areas with no apparent purpose,’ or ‘the purchase of books (including religious texts) and subscriptions to other media containing extremist views.’”

A similar letter by Jordan to FBI Director Christopher Wray was sent regarding the FBI’s alleged communications with Bank of America related to search terms needed to track Americans making financial transactions in the Washington, D.C., area between Jan. 5-7, 2021.

Jordan is seeking transcribed interviews with Bishoff and senior FBI official Peter Sullivan and has requested the interviews be scheduled by January 31, 2024.

Government working with companies to surveil Americans is nothing new, unfortunately.

IRS SCANDAL

In 2012, under the Obama administration, the IRS began flagging conservative political groups for additional reviews to see if they were violating their tax-exempt status, at least, that’s what they said their reasoning was.

Fast forward to 2017, the IRS expressed “its sincere apology” for mistreating one conservative organization called Linchpins of Liberty, along with 40 other conservative groups, in their applications for tax-exempt status. The IRS also admitted it wrongly used “heightened scrutiny and inordinate delays” and demanded unnecessary information as it reviewed applications for tax-exempt status.

A second case involving the NorCal Tea Party Patriots and 427 other groups sued the IRS and reached a “substantial financial settlement” with the government.

FBI TARGETS CATHOLICS

The FBI Richmond office reportedly worked with at least one source who went into Catholic churches intent on reporting if any congregation members showed signs of religious extremism, according to a release from the House Judiciary Committee.

This revelation came two months after an internal FBI memo was leaked showing that the bureau had suspicions of extremism within Catholic congregations, and wanted to recruit insider sources to spy on parishioners.

“This is not how America is supposed to operate,” Jordan says.

Perspective

A surveillance state is necessary to control a population and we’re well into the implementation phase of some sort of plan by the U.S. government.

Why does the U.S. government continually try to find ways to strip away American’s right to privacy? Does the U.S. government really want to become more like the Communist regime in Beijing which monitors the movements of its people, from their grocery purchases to jay walking to if they are pregnant?

Understand, a surveillance state is necessary for a one world governing system to be operational as we read about in the Word. Controlling what people see, hear and engage with and, ultimately, what people believe in, will be part of the Antichrist’s mode of operation.

At this stage, people are being groomed to accept that their privacy isn’t that valuable let alone a right, and that being tracked and surveilled is for our protection, but as Attorney Bruce Schneier says, “The effectiveness of surveillance at preventing crime or terrorism can be debated, but “if your goal is to control a population … mass surveillance is awesome.” “That’s a problem,” he continues, because “privacy is necessary for human progress.”
