Man Pleads Guilty of Arson Gov Blames Climate Change - Encounter Today - Blog

14 forest fires resulted in hundreds of Canadians fleeing their homes last year thanks to dramatic shifts in the climate, at least, that’s what Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wanted people to believe.

The truth is, a Quebec man named Brian Paré intentionally started the fires and has just pleaded guilty to 13 counts of arson and one count of arson with disregard for human life.

Meanwhile, another man from Nova Scotia has just been charged for starting the province’s biggest forest fire in recorded history. And big surprise, this act of arson was also blamed on “climate change” by seven Members of Parliament who are a part of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Party.

Unfortunately, 500 homes were forced to evacuate in Chapais, Quebec on May 31st last year after Paré began his streak of crime.

Concerns of arson arose after five fires began shortly one after the other.

Police started monitoring Paré’s Facebook account after he had made numerous posts about the forest fires he started, as reported by the Globe and Mail. Paré stated that the fires that he set were intentionally started by the Canadian Government to convince the public that climate change was real.

Last year, around 4.5 million hectares of forest burned in Quebec, alone with authorities stating that more than 99%t of the fires were started by lightning strikes.

However, Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sought to capitalise on this opportunity to further his climate alarmism, blaming the fires on “climate change.”

Meanwhile, Parliamentarians in his Liberal Party, as well as his friend and former advisor Gerald Butts, often place the blame of forest fires on “climate change’.

But Canada isn’t the only country using wildfires started by arson to drum up “climate change” outrage.

The Spanish island of Tenerife, a popular holiday destination, garnered international attention for its “wildfires” which were supposedly connected to “climate change.” But, of course, after investigations were conducted, it was revealed that they were started by arsonists.

The Associated Press still promoted the theory that “climate change” had something to do with the fires even though they provided zero evidence and an admission of arson was reached.

Greek Climate Change Minister Vassilis Kikilias also had to admit last year that the majority of wildfires seen across Greece “were caused by human hand”.

Years ago, we would have seen multiple, synchronized fires popping up in the same area as suspicious but many have now grown accustomed to reading headlines and going along with the narrative presented to them instead of digging just a little bit deeper to understand what is really going on.

Not us.

If journalists are going to be lazy and merely resort to the government’s talking points, immediately blaming “climate change” for every disaster or health-related issue, than we, the citizens, must be the ones who seek out the truth on these matters by being engaged in our communities, looking out for one another and dispelling the lies when we recognize them.

Be not afraid; challenge the narrative.
