BREAKING: Trump Dominates First Poll of 2024
A USA Today/Suffolk University poll has found the 2024 GOP frontrunner to be former President Donald Trump who is leading among Hispanic and younger voters over Joe Biden.
Breakdown among American voters:
- Trump leads among Hispanics by five points, 39%-34%
- Trump is up among younger voters 37%-34%
- 17% support an unnamed third-party candidate
Trump is carrying the majority of support amongst Hispanic and young voters with 17 percent saying that they’ll be voting for their third-party candidates. The third party candidate with the most support is Robert F Kennedy Jr who has 10 percent of the vote.
In 2020, Biden garnered 65 percent of the Hispanic vote which was double the 32 percent Trump received. Fast forward to today and Trump carries 39 percent of Hispanic voters which is the majority of the vote compared to the 34 percent support Joe Biden is sitting at.
Amongst voters who are 35 years of age and younger, Trump is also leading with 37 percent compared to 33 percent supporting Biden. These percentages are interesting to see after Trump has been smeared by the establishment media and culture for years.
When it comes to black voters in America, 12 percent of those polled favored Trump which is the exact same percentage he had back in the 2020 election. “Although Trump hasn’t grown support among Black voters, he has closed the deficit because third-party voters come off of Biden’s support among blacks,” said David Paleologos, director of Suffolk’s Political Research Center. “A young voter or a person of color voting ‘third party’ is a vote away from President Biden, and a vote away from President Biden is a vote for Donald Trump.”
Polling the enthusiasm of voters, 44 percent of Trump supporters described their enthusiasm as a “10” out of 10 with a mere 18 percent of Biden supporters describing themselves the same way.
We are 10 months away from the next election and a lot can change in that time frame. There are court cases against Trump that will be ruled on and events on the global and domestic front could shift the opinions of voters dramatically. And whilst polls aren’t everything, patterns are important to follow. The consistent trend with members of the Republican Party, as well as those in the general population, reveals a strong desire for President Trump as their GOP Presidential candidate.
Do you think Trump has a chance of making it onto the GOP ballot? Who do you believe will be on the ballot in the 2024 presidential election? Let us know in the comments below!
