I cannot stress enough the significance of Tucker Carlson and Elon Musk’s recent collaboration to create an uncensored news program. This development is not only a major win for free speech, but it also has tremendous implications for the church’s ability to evangelize.

In the book of Matthew, Jesus instructed his disciples to,

Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

– Mark 16:15

This commandment emphasizes the importance of spreading the good news of salvation to all people, and this task becomes increasingly difficult in a world where censorship and political correctness run rampant.

However, with the creation of an uncensored news program and with Twitter doubling down on the importance of free speech, we now have a platform where the truth can be told without fear of retribution from those who wish to suppress it. This is nothing short of miraculous. The only question is, will Christians take advantage of it?

The importance of free speech has been emphasized by many of the founding fathers of the United States. In fact, Thomas Jefferson once said,

The only security of all is in a free press. The force of public opinion cannot be resisted when permitted freely to be expressed. The agitation it produces must be submitted to. It is necessary, to keep the waters pure.

This sentiment is echoed in the book of Proverbs, which states, “The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness” (Proverbs 15:2). In other words, wise speech is rooted in knowledge and truth, and it is important to allow this speech to be heard in order to maintain a just and free society. With verses like this, it’s easy to see why the enemy wants to silence the truth.

With Tucker Carlson and Elon Musk’s new commitment to uncensored news, we can expect to see a revival of free speech and a renewed emphasis on the importance of truth in the media. This development is a positive step forward for the church and for all those who value free speech and the pursuit of truth.
